A dog named Biscuit was fostered by his family when he was a puppy. They quickly fell in love with him and he officially became a foster fail when they adopted him into their home. They say he is the best dog they have ever had and he’s a beloved member of the family. Elisabeth Dunn Price, Biscuit’s mom, says he loves attention, is cuddly and incredibly sweet. No matter what is happening in the house, Biscuit insists upon being in the middle of it—they say he’s just like a toddler. He loves his family very much and that is very obvious lately.
Biscuit’s mom Elisabeth is 36 weeks pregnant and has a condition called hyperemesis gravidarum. That means she has severe nausea throughout her pregnancy and Biscuit has picked up on the situation. Because she is so sick, Elisabeth spends a lot of time in the bathroom. From the moment she began getting sick, Biscuit has been right by her side to offer his comfort. No matter what and no matter how long it takes, he is there. Elisabeth says even when she is sick all night, he is right by her side. Biscuit refuses to sleep unless his mom is in her bed. He won’t even leave the bathroom to eat or drink—he wants to stay with his mom. Sometimes she is in there for eight to twelve hours at a time but he doesn’t care. He sometimes falls asleep leaning against her but will wake up from time to time to make sure she’s okay.
Elisabeth started bringing Biscuit’s food into the bathroom with her so he has everything he needs while he’s watching out for his mom. She was there for him when he was a puppy and now he is more than happy to return the favor. She is nearing the end of her pregnancy and she knows Biscuit will be there for his baby sibling just like he was there for his mom.
