Dog Makes A Movie

A black lab named Elvis has always had a notable personality. He’s been that way since he joined his family as a puppy. He is both silly and mischievous, a perfect combination for making an entertaining movie. His mom decided to put his talents to work and invested in a GoPro camera to make her movie featuring Elvis. She also purchased a special harness for Elvis so she could safely hook the camera to his back. She was so excited to get started on making the movie, but it seems Elvis was even more excited to make his big film debut.

It was a beautiful sunny day and the conditions for filming a movie were just perfect. Elvis and his mom headed outside to play and she brought the GoPro along. As soon as he saw the camera, however, he was ready to get started—whether his mom was actually ready or not. His mom, Mikaela Batz, says she showed him the camera and he immediately grabbed in and ran. She began to chase him, but it quickly evolved into a game for him. The more she chased Elvis, the faster he ran—and the entire thing was being captured on camera thanks to the GoPro in his mouth. Mikaela says she was worried Elvis might start chewing on the camera, which is why she was running and chasing him around. But Elvis did not stop running and did not stop, filming his hilarious video every step of the way.

But Elvis began to get tired and stopped, but once his mom got closer he started running again. Eventually he slowed down enough for her to get the camera back, but he did not give it up so easily. They played a bit of tug-of-war, but eventually Elvis gave up the camera. He might have stolen the camera and taken creative control of his mom’s movie idea, but it ended up being a great film anyway!
