Stray Dog is Finally Safe

A man named Anand Raman was visiting his sister at work on a hot day in Dubai. There were many people walking on the street that day, desperately trying to find ways to stay cool in the arid climate. That included a young, dirty looking dog that was trying to find shade underneath a parked car. Anand noticed the young pup was eating scraps of food and had matted fur and issues with his legs. Despite the heat and all his health issues, the young pup was so excited to see Anand and ran right over to him. Anand knew he had to help this poor dog. He petted the dog for some time and could tell he was a very sweet pup. Then, he took the pup into the car and the dog immediately fell asleep on his shoulder, relieved to finally be safe.

Anand took the dog straight to a local veterinarian for help. While there, it was discovered that the dog had rickets in his front legs. This issue was due to malnutrition, but the good news was that the condition could be treated and would not have any long term effects. Anand also gave the dog a bath and couldn’t believe his eyes: the gray dog was so dirty that he didn’t realize his fur was white. Anand also gave him a name: Snowy, because of his fur and after the name of the sweet and faithful dog from the popular comic “The Adventures of Tintin.”

After all he had been through, Snowy wasn’t sure how to live inside so he would often just sit in a corner alone. When he went on walks, he was terrified he was going back to the streets and would pull on the leash and run to the parking lot of his new home. After some time, he finally understood he had a home now. Thanks to Anand, sweet Snowy has a safe and loving home forever!
