In Romania, three puppies decided to go on an adventure together. That adventure actually led them onto the property of an oil company. Little did the puppies know, they were in a dangerous situation. There was thick tar everywhere and they began walking through it and soon found themselves stuck. The thick, sticky tar covered their fur and they could not move. Unable to escape, the three little puppies began to cry out for help. The employees of the oil company heard their cries and were able to rush over to save the little pups. They were able to get the puppies out of the tar, but their fur was still covered in the thick, black substance.
The employees then reached out to local animal rescues for help and the Barking Mad Dog Rescue stepped in to offer their assistance. The puppies went back to their facility where veterinary assistants worked quickly to remove the tar from their fur. The puppies were calm throughout the ordeal, despite being in pain because they seemed to realize the people were there to help them. It took many hours and several baths before the puppies were clean from the tar. They had to bathe the dogs in petrol to remove the tar and then carefully wash them again.
Once they were finally clean and free of the tar, the three little puppies were so happy. They were very hungry and thirsty, but otherwise seemed to be in good condition. They were examined by a vet who determined they were healthy—and around 3 months old. They received names, too: Jason, Jeremy, and Jasmine. They are under the care of rescuers for now but will be ready for their forever homes once they turn four months old. For now, they are enjoying being their sweet, energetic, loving puppy selves!
