Pug Faces Stinky Consequences

It was a great idea, at least initially. A dog had a plan in its head, one that involved seeing the world and going on an epic adventure—but it did not exactly pan out the way he thought it would. He might have longed for a taste of sweet, sweet freedom but he got something else entirely: he got a job. While a backstory on the little pug who escaped home and ended up at work is not known, one thing is for certain: he just wanted to see the world. The little pug found his way out of his home, but he did not make it very far away from there before being saved.

Two men who are garbage collectors for the company Red Ambiental in Escobedo, Mexico spotted him right way. They were collecting trash when he ran out into the street alone and without a collar. So, the men decided to rescue him by placing them inside the cab of their garbage truck. Then, they continued along on their route with a third member of their team in tow. Whether the pug actually enjoyed his new job or not is unclear, but he was a good boy and stayed in the vehicle with them for the entire day. He seemed to like sticking his head out the window of the truck and taking in all the many smells around him.

Then, the men began looking for the dog’s owner. Luckily, that was not a complicated task. Soon, the little pug who wanted a taste of adventure but instead found himself in a garbage truck was back where he began: at home. The Red Ambiental Company posted the entire incident along with photos and Facebook, where it quickly went viral. Here’s hoping that sweet little pug will stay at home now!
