This story begins with a little puppy named Oakley. This sweet little pup was down on his luck and was in a local shelter and just hoping for someone to take him in and give him a new home. Things changed very quickly for that puppy, thanks to a family that decided they wanted to adopt a dog. A woman named Lauren Malone and her family decided to adopt the puppy from American Lab Rescue, which pulls dogs from overcrowded shelters all over the country to give them a shot at a new life. Not long after the dog came home, the little puppy immediately bonded with Lauren Malone’s daughter.
