This Dog Adopted a Cow

They say a picture is worth a thousand words and that remains true for this one.  A woman named Janice Wolf is a rescuer for animals that need a little extra help. Wolf owns a ranch that is home to up to sixty loving creatures that are happy to have a second chance.

This baby cow to the right of the above picture is named Moonpie and she has bonded with twelve of Wolf’s rescue dogs. We all hear stories about animals adopting each other, but it’s not often that we hear about dogs and cows becoming best friends.

When Wolf first bought Moonpie, she had a lot of doubt because this cow needed to be fed often and needed to have even more love. With the bad weather her region was facing, Wolf wasn’t sure what to do.

Finally, she decided to keep Moonpie in her home with some of her rescue dogs. They immediately accepted Moonpie, and now they’re all the best of friends. There is one dog in particular, though, that has adopted Moonpie into the family. That dog is a Bull Terrier named Spackle, and the two are absolutely inseparable. They are often featured in pictures with big and happy smiles like the one in the above photo.

Aren’t dogs great? They love pretty much everything around them, even cows! They’re known for being man’s best friend but they’re really just everyone’s best friend.
