Ariana Grande Does Best Thing for Mac Miller’s Dog

April Livingston | January 12th, 2019

Mac Miller, a well known rapper, passed away in September of 2018. After his passing, he left behind a dog named Myron. The dog, who is a pit bull mix, was adopted by Mac from the Wylder’s Holistic Pet Center and Rescue in Los Angeles. Mac was dating musician Ariana Grande when he adopted Myron. Though the couple broke up, they were still friendly and after Mac passed away, Ariana kept up the relationship with his dog. On Instagram, Ariana has shared several photos of her spending time with Myron. It seems she has a special bond with the dog, and she has several dogs of her own.

It’s just about impossible to explain to a dog that their own is gone and will never be coming back. But clearly Ariana is someone familiar to Myron and her presence likely brings some comfort to him in such a confusing time in his life. Ariana has several dogs of her own who seem to get along well with Myron. She posts often on Instagram with photos of her own dogs and it’s clear she loves them very much. Even after she and the rapper broke up, it seemed that Ariana and his dog Myron still loved one another very much.

In fact, Ariana Grande’s first Instagram post of 2019 was a photo of her and Myron out for a walk together. She said it was a, “Beautiful start to this year,” in her post. While losing his dad was likely a confusing, sad time for the dog it is comforting to know that Ariana is working to make things more normal for the sweet dog. Myron clearly has many humans on his side, making sure that he is not lonely and is able to get all the love he needs from his people, even though his dad is gone.
